Since the first cover in 1927, Time magazine has chosen one subject relevant to the year’s events to call Person of the Year.
As they say, “spotlighting their impact”.
Selections were significant, historic, and universally understood.
Now, as every other media entity in the Western world has been tasked to do, I believe this yearly occurrence has, in recent years, been designed to highlight the Left’s favorite pied piper - for good or ill.
Per Today, the shortlist has been revealed.
Here’s who’s on it and what I think about that choice.
Xi Jinping
China’s president, Xi Jinping, appeared on Time’s list of candidates in 2019, when the leader faced unrest as pro-democracy protestors in Hong Kong, a special administrative region, pushed back on a proposed bill that would permit the city’s citizens to be extradited in China.
This year, ahead of the 2022 Winter Olympics, the leader of China met with Russia’s president, Vladimir Putin, where they aligned in standing against “external forces.” During a September meeting between China and Russia, which marked their first exchange since Russia invaded Ukraine, Xi described Putin as his “old friend” and declared that China supported Russia’s “core interest.” In August, China launched ballistic missiles around Taiwan in what was announced as military drills in response to U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s visit to the island.
In October, Xi began a historic third five-year term as communist party leader of China after the two-term limit for presidents ended in 2018.
As I’ve spoken about before on my shows, it’s my fervent wish that an accord may have been struck during the two-day-long summit at Mar-a-Lago in 2017 with Trump. I hope an agreement was made for Xi to assist in the end of the globalist NWO cabal that China has long refused entry; and who, in turn, has happily acceded to China’s self-imposed segregation by presenting it to the world as The Evil Dragon second only to Russia.
Further bolstering my theory, is this article from besacenter.org.
It amplifies the necessity for the two countries to work together, though it doesn’t include the shadow reasons that are even more imperative.
“Mr. Xi is facing a change in the Chinese leadership, and the consequences of his relations with the American president will greatly affect both his current status and his legacy. As the Chinese minister of the exterior put it, “There are a thousand reasons to make China-US relations a success, but not a single reason to break it. Xi Jinping pointed out that cooperation is the only right choice for China and the US, and the two countries can totally become good cooperation partners”.
The Chinese and especially the CCP are not stupid people. I don’t believe they think they can continue to carry on in a Communist manner with the temperature of the world being as it is. I feel that they know that, ultimately, the globalists will “cancel” them - using outrage over China’s humanitarian crises and climate crimes as reasoning - all the while adopting their methodology to implement in the New Global Government.
It would behoove Xi to safeguard China from this while helping Trump remove our enemy.
The U.S. Supreme Court
In 2022, the Supreme Court sparked controversy and debate across the country over abortion rights, affirmative action, gun control, and anti-water pollution laws.
In June, the court made a historic decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, ending nearly 50 years of constitutional protection for abortion rights. Later that month, Congress ruled on another controversial topic when they made the clarification that the Second Amendment gives citizens the right to carry a firearm outside the home.
In October, the court began a new term with its first Black female justice, Ketanji Brown Jackson, on the bench. The new term started with the court hearing conservative arguments on the nation’s primary anti-water pollution law called the Clean Water Act, which regulates and controls pollutants in U.S. waters.
That same month, the court heard arguments in two affirmative action cases that could challenge and change the role of race in the application process at universities across the U.S.
This may be the most calculated inclusion of all. Setting aside the appointment of Jackson, a clear “identity choice” meant to force Conservatives to oppose so the Left could say “See! They’re all racists!”, choosing the Supreme Court as Persons of the Year will create higher interest in forthcoming decisions and, the Left would hope, a sense of obligation in the justices.
Elon Musk
In December 2021, Time editors selected Musk as the person to have held the most influence on the world in 2021, with Time Editor-In-Chief Edward Felsenthal telling TODAY at the time that Musk “is reshaping life on Earth and possibly life off Earth as well.”
This year, the billionaire topped the Forbes list of the World’s Richest People, and he also purchased Twitter for $44 billion in October after much public back and forth on whether he was going to move forward with the acquisition.
In the aftermath of his takeover, Musk gained criticism as he dismissed several of the company’s top executives, laid off about half of the platform’s 7,500 employees, and rolled out a subscription service that allows users to pay for the platform’s oft-coveted blue check of verification.
Absolutely a revenge thing, last year’s selection allying himself with free speech, threatening to sell his shares of Twitter to Trump for a penny, and knocking gender rights back a century by firing all the whiny Liberal women from the platform, has all of the media shaking in their overpriced boots.
His latest move, releasing the internal documents and communique between Twitter’s Stasi and our treasonous Federal government, could mean this is a passive-aggressive intimidation or a flat-out threat to keep the spotlight on him through the coming year.
Liz Cheney
Following the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol, Rep. Liz Cheney has continuously voiced her support for the impeachment of former President Donald Trump, which has had resounding effects on her political career over the last year and a half.
Just months after first expressing support for Trump’s impeachment, the House Republicans voted to remove Cheney from the No. 3 position in caucus leadership. Then, in August 2022, the congresswoman lost her House seat in the Wyoming primary to her Trump-endorsed opponent, Harriet Hageman. Following the loss, Cheney spoke with TODAY’s Savannah Guthrie in an exclusive interview on Aug. 17, where she said she would do “whatever it takes to keep Donald Trump out of the Oval Office” in the next election.
Would I put it past Time to put an openly boastful traitor like the daughter of traitor Dick Cheney on the cover? Absolutely not. I would also bet a new Viking kitchen package that Cheney’s camp is heavily lobbying for her selection.
She is the picture of a woman scorned. Her own party rejected her position and the people of her state rejected her as their spokesperson - clearly opting to stand with Trump.
That’s gotta hurt.
And I’m glad.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy **SELECTED 12/7/2022**
Over the course of the year, Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has become a face of democracy on an international scale since Russia’s invasion began.
In a world clouded with information and broadcast overload, Zelenskyy’s daily video updates about the war in his country have urged the world to keep its eyes affixed on the ongoing conflict that continues to unfold in Ukraine.
More than a figure, Zelenskyy’s efforts have taken him to the frontlines of combat. In May, the president visited a battle where Ukrainian and Russian troops fought for control of Donbas, a crucial city located in Ukraine’s eastern region. Months later, in November, he took to the streets with revelers in the Ukrainian city of Kherson to celebrate their relief as Russian troops pulled back from the area.
Everything written above is a lie.
Zelensky is nothing more than a cut-rate Joe Biden and cheap imitation of a slimier Barack Obama - an NWO/WEF-groomed comedian-turned-politician that was placed to front-face a puppet country our CIA couped and has run since 2014.
This clown cannot be Mussolini’d fast enough.
Putin cannot complete his objectives soon enough.
Our treasonous fauxministration bankrupting Americans to fund this POS and line their own pockets has to end.
He’s currently worth roughly $20 million, based on reporting by Forbes Ukraine. Additional reporting by Forbes US puts that number at less than $30 million.
That is $29,999,999 too much.
He is a green-screen warrior and war criminal. Despite the fact that it was proven that he executed a false flag on Russian soil to entice the US/NATO into entering the war, selecting a man who is grifting the planet to keep the secrets of American Democrats and other corrupt world politicians is a travesty.
MacKenzie Scott
With her 4% stake in Amazon, a company started by her ex-husband, Jeff Bezos, MacKenzie Scott took this year to move the goalpost for big philanthropy and quite literally put her money where her mouth is.
In May, Scott made history with a $122.6 million donation to Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, which aims to help children achieve their potential through fostering strong relationships with mentors across the country. Scott’s contribution is historic to the organization, marking the highest donation by a single person in its 118-year existence.
In November, the billionaire philanthropist also revealed in a Medium post that in this year alone, she has donated nearly $2 billion to 343 organizations focused on the support of underserved communities.
I’m just going to say this: If you were once married to one of the world’s biggest scumbags and choose to keep his secrets so you can keep your divorce settlement, so you can give it away and make yourself feel better about being married to one of the world’s biggest scumbags - you’re a scumbag.
Protesters in Iran
After the death of Mahsa Amini, a 22-year-old woman from the Kurdistan region of Iran, in September, an onslaught of civil unrest and protests against the government of Iran quickly spread throughout the country, as well as worldwide.
At the time of her death, Amini, who was an aspiring lawyer, had been in the custody of the morality police in Iran’s capital, Tehran, who were enforcing a mandatory dress code.
After the demonstrations began, the Iranian government implemented restrictions on social media and internet access and implanted internet blackouts in an attempt to quell them.
Still, amongst the dissent, women in Iran refused to cower. Videos show them cutting their hair and burning their head scarves — a show of defiance against the government’s tight grasp over women’s rights and freedoms. Videos of school-aged girls protesting in schoolyards and classrooms have also emerged, signaling an entire generation of unrest to come.
A more worthy choice than that high-heels dancing actor, the significance of the protests in Iran cannot be overlooked.
Their protests have already borne a measure of success as the morality police have been disbanded in its wake.
Though the Left loves to throw the word democracy around - a word I now cringe at hearing - a free Iran would send shockwaves throughout the middle east and be the cornerstone of reunification for refugees scattered across the West.
We, America, do not exist in a bubble. The more secure and well-functioning the rest of the world, the better for us. Trump knew this. This was his goal. A world of Nationalists making their own countries great again. Unlike every other leader before him, he realized that success can only be measured by your performance against successful competitors. Any jerkoff can puff out their chest at beating a much lesser opponent.
American exceptionalism is something we have earned and is a title we’ll defend.
Ron DeSantis
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’ efforts to restrict LGBTQ rights in schools across the state and his recent political win in the general election have garnered attention this year.
On March 28, DeSantis signed the Parental Rights in Education Act which prohibits “classroom instruction” on sexual orientation and gender identity in kindergarten through third-grade classes in Florida. Soon after, the Walt Disney Company voiced its opposition to the law, which resulted in DeSantis signing another bill to repeal House Bill No. 486, which had been established in 1967 and granted Disney the privilege to self-govern its district in Florida.
Outside of his beef with Mickey, DeSantis has shown no signs of losing focus on his own political achievements.
Though this year’s election cycle turned over bleak results for Republicans, DeSantis emerged from the voting ballots as his party’s most significant win. His reelection win cemented him as the GOP’s sharpest and most conspicuous weapon — a Trump alternative in the quickly approaching United States presidential election.
There is so much wrong in this summary of DeSantis, I can’t even.
First, he has no interest in restricting LGBTQ RIGHTS - None of us do.
Our interest lies in protecting the rights of ALL CHILDREN to BE CHILDREN.
Next, they out themselves as cheerleaders for pedophile sanctuaries like the Disney corporation.
Lastly, we won 232 elections out of 252 in this year’s election cycle.
If that is a bleak result, they need to have their heads examined.
Janet Yellen
In 2021, Janet Yellen became the first woman to take on the role of secretary of the treasury in U.S. history.
At the start of this year, the economist — who appeared on Time’s list of 100 most influential people in 2017 — announced the U.S. Mint’s first shipment of the American Women Quarters Program. The project puts notable women in U.S. history on the 25-cent piece, which began with a depiction of poet Maya Angelou.
In a year of heightened inflation alarm, the United States leaned on Yellen to interpret the telltale signs of a recession and draw up preemptive domestic and international financial policies.
In the lead-up to the midterms, Yellen traveled the country to instill confidence in the Biden administration and its progress in a post-COVID economy. With midterms in the rearview and presidential elections ahead, Yellen will have to round up the confidence in the Biden administration once again.
These people are on the glue.
Read the first line again and you will know why this inept, order-taking hag made the list.
Facing the worst economic crisis in the history of this country since the depression, these wacky selectors chose a woman who manipulated this Nation’s wealth in an effort to make that terrorist traitor Obama look good and then tried every trick in the book to wreck Trump’s economic gains.
I think this sums it up perfectly:
Gun Safety Advocates
By late November, the United States surpassed 600 mass shootings, an alarming statistic that has occurred in the country for the third year in a row. High-profile mass shootings have overtaken headlines, among them a racially motivated attack in May that killed 10 people, all of whom were Black, at a grocery store in Buffalo, New York, and just over a week later, the deadly school shooting at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, that killed 19 students and two teachers.
Engagement efforts to instill a sense of urgency to press warring politicians and leaders to address the gun epidemic felt, in many ways, futile. Still, gun safety advocates rallied.
On June 11, over 450 demonstrations took place across the country in reaction to the Buffalo and Uvalde shootings with the goal of pushing lawmakers to take action against gun violence. The next day, two senators on opposite sides of the gun debate — Democratic Sen. Chris Murphy of Connecticut and Republican Sen. John Cornyn from Texas — announced they’d come to a framework agreement on new gun legislation, which included “red flag” laws and enhanced background checks on buyers.
Alright … Let’s address this very simply: In all the cases noted above, the shooter WAS A LEFTIST.
Conservatives do not commit mass shootings.
Senator Chris Murphy has built a career on placating gun advocates yet he will never be able to deliver any results because the 2nd Amendment shall not be infringed.
As for Sen. John Cornyn, he’s just an idiot. A pandering, useful idiot who should very well know that red flag laws are the most easily corruptible kind of laws and that enhancing background checks that we already have in place is useless for criminals who obtain their weapons illegally.
Law-abiding citizens do not commit gun crimes.
They’re law-abiding.
Duh.

Absolutely brilliant! And what a list... who would I pick? I think my vote has to go to ZDK, because honestly none of the candidates any year are really anything more than the latest or up and coming elites who gain favor is certain circles.
Circles that the average everyday American don't, and likely won't ever see or be part of. I can think of hundreds of people right now, far more deserving of the title "Person of the Year". But because these people don't live on the upper East Side of NYC, or fly in for the Met gala, we'll never know them.
Put simply, it's a sham. Another in an ever growing list. Perhaps they should rename it Time's "Sham of the Year" To me, it seems much more befitting.
