Let’s go back in time a little …
This is Victoria Nuland, Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs, on January 27, 2022 and the Pedotato, a little while later, on February 7, 2022.
(For the record, I do not follow Cernovich - I get a bad gut niggle about him Just sayin’)
On Monday, September 26, 2002, a sudden and significant drop in pressure of the Nordstream 1 and 2 pipelines that lay in the Baltic Sea near Denmark and Sweden was reported.
Sweden had registered explosions at the time the leaks occurred, one of which that equaled a magnitude 2.3 earthquake.
As of this writing, gas was still spilling out into the water surrounding the leaks.
Upon the next airing of his show, Tucker Carlson said what those who know said immediately upon hearing of the leaks - it was sabotage.
It was the Deep State.
Coincidentally, this was Germany just before the explosions:
And it isn’t just Tucker and me who think it was sabotage.
“The European Union on Wednesday promised a "robust" response to any intentional disruption of its energy infrastructure after saying it suspected sabotage was behind gas leaks discovered this week on subsea Russian pipelines to Europe.
As gas spewed out under the Baltic Sea for a third day after first being detected, it remained far from clear who might be responsible for any sabotage of the Nord Stream pipelines that Russia and European partners spent billions of dollars building.
Russia, which slashed gas deliveries to Europe after the West imposed sanctions over Moscow's invasion of Ukraine, has also said sabotage was a possibility.
Any deliberate disruption of European energy infrastructure is utterly unacceptable and will be met with a robust and united response," the EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell said.
Echoing the views of Germany, Denmark and Sweden, he said sabotage was likely, although the EU has not named a potential perpetrator or suggested a motive. Washington, which has led efforts to punish Moscow over the war, believes its too soon to conclude there was sabotage, a senior U.S. military official said.
"The jury is still out," the official told reporters. "Many of our partners, I think, have determined or believe it is sabotage. I'm just -- I'm not at the point where I can tell you one way or the other."
Asked whether any U.S. involvement in the ruptures could be ruled out, the U.S. military official said: "We were absolutely not involved."
Yes … and I’m unattractive
Who Benefits?
A piece I found at NewsTarget.com says what we’re all thinking.
They blame the “ruthless Biden regime”.
“So the ruthless Biden regime publicly threatens to take down the Nord Stream pipelines by any means necessary, then a US Navy fleet task force shows up in the Bornholm area of the Baltic Sea with undersea demolitions experts, and then a couple of months later the Nord Stream pipeline gets blown to pieces, right in the Bornholm area of the Baltic Sea, putting European industry on course for collapse while shoring up western dominance of US industry and dollar currency.”
I could be jaded when I say that I don’t think this has only to do with “shoring up … US industry and dollar currency”. I think it has to do with punishing Germany for trying to put its citizens first - and pulling out every stop possible to delay their inevitable end.
Germany had no intention of not utilizing Russian gas this winter and if the Biden regime could create a situation to ensure it couldn’t while taking Putin’s focus off pressing forward in Ukraine, it’s a two birds and one stone scenario.
The optics, as usual, are as bad as can be.
US Navy maneuvers, you say?
Why, yes!
“As Sea Power Magazine reported on June 14th, of this year, the US Navy’s 6th Fleet Task Force 68 was running underwater explosives removal drills in the exact area where these sabotage explosions took place. The cover story was that the US Navy needed to conduct “mine hunting experiments” using unmanned underwater drones. From the article:
In support of BALTOPS, U.S. Navy 6th Fleet partnered with U.S. Navy research and warfare centers to bring the latest advancements in unmanned underwater vehicle mine hunting technology to the Baltic Sea to demonstrate the vehicle’s effectiveness in operational scenarios.
Experimentation was conducted off the coast of Bornholm, Denmark, with participants from Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific, Naval Undersea Warfare Center Newport, and Mine Warfare Readiness and Effectiveness Measuring all under the direction of U.S. 6th Fleet Task Force 68.
This year experimentation was focused on UUV navigation, teaming operations, and improvements in acoustic communications all while collecting critical environmental data sets to advance the automatic target recognition algorithms for mine detection.”
Fascinating …
Also from the Reuters article, “While neither pipeline was delivering gas to Europe at the time, the incidents scupper any remaining expectations that Europe could receive fuel via Nord Stream 1 before winter.”
At the time of this writing, analysts have said that “Russia could export gas to Europe through one of the idle Nord Stream 2 pipelines that was the only of Nord Stream's four lines still capable of working.”
While not ideal, that would at least ensure the saboteur’s victory wasn’t total.
Everybody Hates the EU
There is talk that what has transpired will plunge Europe into the darkest days it has seen since WWII.
In this March, 2022 Reuters said, “BASF says it would stop output if gas supplies fell to half its needs.” That article went on to explain:
Germany’s BASF (BASFn.DE) said on Wednesday it would have to stop production if natural gas supplies fell to less than half its needs, as the world’s largest chemicals group warned of the damage to its operations from Europe’s power crunch.
NewsTarget went on further to say,
“The destruction of Nord Stream 1 and 2 now guarantees that BASF will be forced offline. This means European industry is over. And that means European banks are going to face widespread insolvency. The very existence of the Euro currency — and the EU itself — is now in question.
By blowing up Nord Stream, the USA has managed to set events into motion that will collapse Western Europe as we know it, transforming a First World continent into a Third World hellhole of starvation, destitution, unemployment and industrial annihilation.
This outcome has already been set in motion and cannot be stopped, since the Nord Stream pipelines cannot be repaired for months or years (there are no official estimates of repair times that have yet been made public, but the situation looks dire). Now, Germany and many other European nations will be forced to buy more high-priced LNG from US exporters, which just happens to shift billions in profits from Russia’s Gazprom to US-based LNG exporters.”
I can be accused of being tunnel-visioned. Especially, when it comes to this treasonous fauxministration and the bad actors in their employ.
But it seems that everything leads back to them.
Lately, they don’t even seem to care.
The Spooks
Almost immediately, the reports began that the CIA had warned Germany weeks ago that the pipeline was vulnerable.
Writ in Der Spiegel on Tuesday, A tip from the US spy agency was "received in Berlin during the summer," the outlet said, citing "several people familiar with the matter." Officially, however, the federal government declined to comment on intelligence-related matters.
Earlier on Tuesday, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said an attack on Nord Stream was "in no one's interest," but that it also represented a "significant opportunity" for Western Europe to abandon Russian natural gas in favor of alternative energy supplies, presumably such as US LNG, and "accelerate the transition to renewables" in order to fight climate change.
And then there’s the Polish ex-FM tweeting this immediately after:
Per this story from RT.com, Sikorski later tweeted, in Polish, that damage to Nord Stream means that Russia will have to “talk to the countries controlling the Brotherhood and Yamal gas pipelines, Ukraine and Poland” if it wishes to continue delivering gas to Europe. “Good work,” he concluded.
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova wondered if Sikorsky’s tweet amounted to an “official statement that this was a terrorist attack.”
Meanwhile, Moscow’s deputy ambassador to the UN, Dmitry Polyanskiy, tweeted this:
For no gas getting around, it’s certainly heating up!
